WYNDORA AVENUE - Bathroom, Bedroom & Study Renovation

When the Bone Made duo initially met with their Wyndora Avenue clients, the brief was simple - for the design to be timeless, the space to be maximised and the style to reflect a luxurious coastal scheme with tribal elements.

Beginning with the bathroom - originally a dated and pokey space, rather than a cosmetic upgrade Bone Made advised a full Renovation was required to meet their client’s brief.
By demolishing the entire bathroom back to its original structure, it allowed them to maximise the space to its full potential, increase natural lighting and create functional and practical storage solutions. To ensure longevity within the finishes selection, Bone Made specified a simple white and grey colour palette integrating timber tones to create warmth, ensuring the space didn’t feel cold, uninviting or sterile. Placing emphasis on the height of the raked ceiling, they added a custom, oversized 1200mm diameter mirror to add wow factor, reflect more light and allow the space to appear larger. Pendant lighting, floating shelves, greenery and some cute tribal accessories pulled the scheme together.

Bone Made enhanced the bedroom space by re painting, re carpeting and re styling. Natural white by Dulux was selected as the paint finish, Caverlier Bremworth’s Lisburn carpet in ‘Damask’ for carpet, oversized bamboo pendants for lighting and a selection of greenery and monochrome scatter cushions were added for the final touches.

The study nook was a space which needed simplifying and scaling back. Removing the original, bulky office desk and chair, Bone Made designed and had custom built by a local joiner a simple American oak desk, paired with floating shelves for storage and to display decorative accents.
